Coastal Future Florida is a nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to protecting and preserving the marine ecosystems along Florida’s western coast. We work at the intersection of policy, science, and public engagement to ensure that our waters, wildlife, and coastal communities continue to thrive for generations to come.

Why We Matter
At Coastal Future Florida, we believe that the health of our ocean determines the health of our future. Florida’s western coast is one of the most ecologically vital and economically significant marine regions in the United States. Yet every year, it faces mounting threats from habitat loss, water pollution, climate-driven erosion, and poorly regulated development. What’s at stake isn’t just wildlife — it’s the long-term sustainability of our communities, our economy, and our way of life.
